Hitting the road already? Don't forget the check weather and road conditions.

Welcome to Snowbirds and RV Travelers magazine. We certainly hope that you enjoy and use this site often. It will bring you a lot of very valuable information to use during your travels through this magnificent province of British Columbia. Current weather conditions for our province are just a click away, as well as our current road conditions. You are also just a click away from our highway help directory (coming August 2008), which will be a very helpful guide to those in need during those moments when that summer vacation has turned, shall we say, bad. Life happens, so be prepared!

We always encourage our readers to have whatever you are driving or pulling serviced by a professional service technician. Trust us, we have been there! It is always cheaper and less stressful to know that you are in good shape before you leave. These pros will be able to identify many of your problems before they become a vacation ender!

Enjoy our province, there are endless opportunities and geography to explore, hike, fish, etc. British Columbia is an incredible province with a wealth of great orchards, gardens, vineyards, entertainment and beautiful "sites" (and sights) to see.

And also, while you travel, always be sure to check with our local tourism operators. These great folks will be only too happy to point you to some of the most spectacular spots you may ever see. They are also a wealth of information for conditions, warnings and other great bits of local information.

We hope you RV as much as you can - we know we will, but please travel safe. Send us pictures, stories - funny or serious - we love to hear from you!

Happy Motoring
